Founded by Andrea Archvadze and Akaki Andguladze, Cheese & Bread brings a unique culinary experience to the region, introducing the rich flavors and traditions of Georgian cuisine. The name "Cheese & Bread" pays homage to the staples of Georgian culture and dining. Our restaurant offers a taste of Georgia's rich culinary heritage, emphasizing authentic, home-cooked, family-style meals made with ingredients imported directly from Georgia.
Andrea Archvadze's journey from dishwasher to chef is a testament to his passion for sharing Georgian cuisine. After honing his skills in Brooklyn's Georgian restaurants, Andrea and Akaki opened two successful establishments, Royal Garden Tbilisi and Royal Palace Tbilisi, before bringing Cheese & Bread to Norwalk. Our menu showcases a variety of signature dishes, from the beloved khachapuri—a delightful bread filled with a cheese, egg, and butter mixture—to meat and fish kebabs, khinkali dumplings, and veal stew. Each dish is crafted with care, ensuring a true taste of Georgia.
